Teacher Aides (2026-2027)
The Dunkirk City School District is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill positions as teacher aides. Teacher aides support teachers and students in the learning process. This involves reading tests, assisting in correcting papers, recording grades, working with students individually or in small groups, maintaining files, preparing reports, monitoring student behavior, and helping students grow and learn. They can be involved in the technical preparation of productions, labs experiments, station activities, and video programs. Should have the ability to establish good relationships with children, families, and other school colleagues. Applicants must have graduated from a New York State High School or possess an equivalency diploma. Any applicant must also be 18 years or older prior to starting a position.
